NEPSE Surges 41.43 Points, Extends Rally to Two Sessions, While Overall Volume Stood at Rs. 5.22 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) continued its upward momentum, gaining 41.43 points (1.58%) to close at 2,663.30. This follows a 39.13-point rise in the previous session, signaling a strong recovery.
The index opened at 2,632.13, reaching an intraday high of 2,666.17 and a low of 2,621.46. The total turnover stood at Rs. 5.22 Arba, with 9,772,196 shares exchanged across 309 companies through 55,442 transactions.
Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led the turnover chart, recording Rs. 51.18 Crores in trades and closing at Rs. 1,020.10 per share.
Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GLBSL) topped the gainers' list, surging 10%.
Meanwhile, Kumari Sabal Yojana (KSY) recorded the steepest drop, falling 1.82%.
Among sectors, the Trading Index posted the highest gain of 6.09%, whereas the Mutual Fund Index saw the smallest increase of 0.37%.
