NEPSE Surges By 19.97 Points with Rs. 10.54 Arba Turnover; Four Scrips Hit Positive Circuit

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded an incline of 19.97 points (0.72%) today, closing at 2,758.04. In the previous session, NEPSE had fallen by 9.99 points.
The market opened at 2,749.27 and exhibited volatility throughout the session, reaching an intraday low of 2,746.47 and a high of 2,773.47. Trading activity was vigorous, with a total turnover of Rs. 10.54 Arba generated from the exchange of 23,011,361 shares across 314 companies in 103,481 transactions.
Nepal Finance Ltd. (NFS) led the market in turnover, recording trading worth Rs. 59.47 crores and closing at Rs. 1,244.
Meanwhile, four scrips achieved the maximum daily gain of 10 percent each.
Conversely, Nepal Finance Ltd. (NFS) experienced the steepest decline, falling by 8.72 percent.
Among the sectoral indices, the Trading Index posted the highest gain of 9.7 percent, while the Finance Index saw the highest loss of 1.97 percent.
