NEPSE Surges By 28.91 Points with Rs. 4.43 Arba Turnover; Three Scrips Hit Positive Circuit

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) inclined by 28.91 points (1.11%) today, closing at 2,612.20, following a double-digit loss of 13.53 points in the previous session.
The market opened at 2,582.29 and saw fluctuations, reaching an intraday high of 2,612.20 and a low of 2,580.49.
The total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.43 Arba, with 55,938 transactions involving 8,908,851 shares across 328 companies. The market’s total capitalization was Rs. 43.32 Kharba, with the float market capitalization recorded at Rs. 14.44 Kharba.
Janaki Finance Company Limited (JFL) led the turnover chart with Rs. 18.84 crores in trades, closing at Rs. 987 per share.
On the gainers' side, three companies posted the highest growth, rising by 10% each.
Conversely, Manushi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MLBS) saw a significant drop of 10%.
Among sectors, the Hydropower Index registered the highest rise, inclining at 2.65%, while the Mutual Fund Index saw the largest decline at 4.21%.
