NEPSE Surges By 5.32 Points with Rs. 4.86 Arba Turnover; Three Scrips Hit Positive Circuit

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) continued its upward trajectory today with a slight increase of 5.32 points (0.20%), closing at 2,586.23. This marks a continuation of positive momentum following a 4.63-point rise in the previous trading session.
The market opened at 2,586.08 and experienced fluctuations throughout the day, with an intraday high of 2,592.91 and a low of 2,574.43. A total turnover of Rs. 4.86 Arba was recorded, generated from 61,167 transactions involving 9,386,721 shares of 327 listed companies.
Janaki Finance Company Limited (JFL) led the turnover chart with Rs. 19.09 crores worth of trades, closing at Rs. 700 per share.
On the gainers', three scrips outperformed others, achieving a 10% surge in each share price.
On the other hand, Narayani Development Bank Limited (NABBC) saw the steepest decline, falling by 8.88%.
Sectoral indices showed mixed results. The Finance Index recorded the largest drop, plummeting by 1.04%, while the Hydropower Index posted a gain of 1.67%.
