Nepse to be opened for 5 days, Monday-Friday from coming Jestha

As per the instruction given by SEBON, Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse), the only marketplace in the country, will be opened for buying and selling on Friday as well. The information got here after the authorities determined to present public vacations on Saturday in addition to Sunday as a tribulation from Jestha to lessen gasoline consumption.

Mr Ramesh Kumar Hamal, Chairman of the Nepal Securities Board, on a discussion about the capital market organized by the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry stated that the Nepse shall be opened for 5 days i.e Monday-Friday from coming Jestha. Currently, the capital market is operating five days a year except for Friday and Saturday.
