NEPSE To Remain Close To Mark Holiday On the Occasion of Dashain Festival

The Government of Nepal has declared the 24th and 28th of Ashwin to be a public holiday in advance of the Dashain festival, one of the biggest Hindu holidays known for its fervor and dedication. The days from Fulpati to Dwadasi are included in this holiday season when the country as a whole gathers to commemorate this happy occasion.

The Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) will be closed from Thursday through Monday, Ashwin 24–Ashwin 28, by this notice. On Ashwin 29, 2081, a Tuesday, regular trade will resume at 11:00 AM.

During this time, no trading activities will be conducted at NEPSE, and investors are encouraged to plan their financial activities, keeping in mind this temporary closure.
