NEPSE trading is on hold again from tomorrow until further notice

Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has again published a notice regarding the extension of suspension of all trading activities in the securities market.

As per the notice published; NEPSE will remain closed from Ashad 7 (June 21) onwards until further notice. Even after week of ease of lockdown by the government NEPSE is remained closed. The market has halted since Chaitra 9, 2076, apart from 2 days trading happened on Baisakh 30th and 31st, 2077.

Citing the board’s decision of NEPSE dated Asad 6, 2077 under the instruction of the government agencies to halt mobility for Covid 19 prevention, it has informed that the closure will remain in place until there’s any new development, as per the statement.
