NEPSE Trips Down Painful 30.92 Points While Market Cap Stood at Rs. 32.48 Kharba: Hydropower Index Lost Highest

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a loss of 30.92 points, or 1.47%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 2,067.01 points. The previous trading day saw a loss of 21.67 points for the index.
Today the market started with the index opening at 2,103.2 hitting an intraday low of 2,063.68, and reaching an intraday high of 2,103.22.
During today's trading, there were 309 different stocks traded in 80,029 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 11,514,571 with a total turnover of Rs. 4.18 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 32.48 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.15 Kharba.
Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led in turnover, totaling Rs. 54.01 crore, and concluded the day with a market price of Rs. 695.10.
Similarly, Samaj Laghubittya Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SAMAJ) showed the highest gain of 6.10%, followed by Rawa Energy Development Limited (RAWA) with a gain of 3.83%.
On the flip side, Samling Power Company Limited (SPC) experienced the highest loss of 9.42%.
In terms of sector indices, Only one sector index closed in green today. The "Finance Index" saw the highest gain of 0.21%, while the "Hydropower Index" saw a loss of 2.35%.
