NEPSE Witnessed Gain of 44.45 Points; Overall Volume Stood at Rs. 3.71 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index saw an incline of 44.45 points (1.80%), closing at 2,508.86, after losing 22.36 points in the previous session.

The index fluctuated throughout the day, starting at 2,466.6 points, dipping to an intraday low of 2,462.79, and reaching a high of 2,508.86 before settling to the closing value.

In today's session, a total of 319 scrips were traded through 50,680 transactions, resulting in a volume of 9,717,959 shares. This activity led to a turnover of Rs. 3.71 Arba. 

CEDB Hydropower Development Company Limited (CHDC) led the turnover chart, trading Rs. 17.69 crore worth of shares and closing at Rs. 1,727.

CEDB Hydropower Development Company Limited (CHDC) achieved the day’s highest gain of 10%.

Meanwhile, Prabhu Select Fund (PSF) marked the session’s biggest loss of 9.36%.

Sector-wise, only the Mutual Index saw a 0.60% decrease, while the Finance Index inclined by the highest 4.19%.
