NEPSE Witnessed Loss of 0.68% to Close at 2,627.14 Levels; Only Hydropower Sector Closed In Green

The NEPSE index finished today at 2,627.14 points, reflecting a notable decrease of 18.25 points (0.68%) from the previous day's close, following a significant decrease of 20.41 points in the last trading session.

The index fluctuated between an intraday low of 2,614.65 and a high of 2,650.18 during trading.

A total of 317 stocks were traded across 61,785 transactions, with 12,283,623 shares exchanging hands, leading to a turnover of Rs. 5.41 Arba. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 41.77 Kharba, and the float market capitalization was Rs. 14.79 Kharba.

NLG Insurance Company Ltd. (NLG)) topped the turnover list with Rs. 34.31 crores, closing at Rs. 1,357.00.

Likewise, today's highest gainer was Nepal SBI Bank Limited (SBI), at 9.75%.

Meanwhile, Rawa Energy Development Limited (RAWA) faced the biggest loss, dropping 10%.

Sector-wise, the Hydropower Index saw the highest increase of 0.36%, while the Trading Index registered the highest loss of 1.93%.
