NEPSE Witnessed Minimal Loss of 0.03% to Close at 2,088.99 Levels; 7 Companies Hit Positive Circuit

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a loss of 0.62 points, or 0.03%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 2,088.99 points. The previous trading day saw a gain of 9.50 points for the index.
Today the market started with the index opening at 2,091.28, hitting an intraday low of 2,082.49, and reaching an intraday high of 2,106.43.
During today's trading, there were 307 different stocks traded in 79,389 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 22,132,768 with a total turnover of Rs. 4.30 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 32.81 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.33 Kharba.
Himalayan Bank Ltd. Promoter (HBLPO) had the highest turnover, reaching Rs. 23.85 crores, and closed at a market price of Rs. 134.90.
Similarly, Seven companies hit the positive circuit for today.
On the flip side, 9% Nepal SBI Bank Rinpatra 2089 (SBID89) experienced the highest loss of 9.60%.
In terms of sector indices, four sectors closed in green today. The "Hydropower Index" saw the highest gain of 1.56%, while the "Life Insurance Index" saw a loss of 1.04%.
