NEPSE Witnessed Minimal Loss of 0.04% to Close at 2,000.77 Levels; Trading Sector Gain Highest

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index recorded a minimal loss of 0.87 points or 0.04% from the previous day's closing, settling at 2,000.77 points. The index had incurred a gain of 9.34 points in the trading session before.
At the commencement of today's trading, the market initiated with the index at 2,002.94, reaching an intraday peak of 2,009.50 and encountering a low of 1,992.46.
During today's trading session, a total of 308 different stocks were traded in 41,679 transactions. The volume of shares traded totaled 5,115,658, resulting in a turnover of Rs. 2.03 Arba. The market capitalization was reported at Rs. 31.45 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.73 Kharba.
Sonapur Minerals And Oil Limited (SONA) led in turnover, amassing Rs. 12.69 crores and concluding the day with a market price of Rs. 458.50.
On a positive note, Four companies witnessed positive circuits today.
On the flip side, Samling Power Company Limited (SPC) experienced the highest loss of 6.66%.
In sector indices, Six sectors indices closed in the green today. The "Trading Index" saw the highest gain of 5.51%, while the "Development Bank Index" experienced a loss of 1.11%.
