NEPSE Witnessed Minimal Loss of 0.33% to Close at 2,155.82 Levels; HRL Sees Highest Turnover

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index has a loss of 7.24 points, or 0.33%, over the previous day's closing to conclude at 2,155.82 points. The previous trading day saw a loss of 12.10 points for the index.

Today the market started with the index opening at 2,163.39 hitting an intraday low of 2,133.12, and reaching an intraday high of 2,167.43.

During today's trading, there were 298 different stocks traded in 3,04,023 transactions. The volume of shares traded amounted to 21,125,776 with a total turnover of Rs. 8.17 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 33.86 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 11.70 Kharba.

Himalayan Reinsurance Limited (HRL) led in turnover, totaling Rs. 1.84 Arba, and concluded the day with a market price of Rs. 653, contributing to 22.55% of the overall trading session's turnover.

 

Similarly, Four companies hit the positive circuit for today.

 

On the flip side, Terhathum Power Company Limited (TPC) experienced the highest loss of 9.43%.

 

In terms of sector indices, Three sectors closed in green today. The "Others Index" saw the highest gain of 1.30%, while the "Hotels and Tourism Index" saw a loss of 1.42%.
