NEPSE witnessed stability with 4 hours of regular trading ; closed 9.35 points up with Rs 103 crore turnover

The market today saw volatility of almost 40 points, made high and low of 1280.93 points and 1241.70 points respectively. At the end, the benchmark index gained minimal points at 9.35 points or 0.74% and closed at 1265.46 levels. The turnover amount stood at Rs.1.03 Arba achieved through trade of 28,06,898 units of shares traded through 20,474 transactions trading scrips of 172 listed companies in the process.
Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) posted the highest turnover, volume and number of transactions of Rs.15.12 Crore, 3,84,082 shares and 9,713 times respectively with LTP at Rs.400 per share. Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (NLIC) stood second in the turnover amount of Rs 10.26 crore with LTP at Rs 1,180 per share.
Suryodaya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBS) was today’s top gainer as it gained 9.86% or 54 points and closed at Rs.603 per share. The trading of this company has resumed exactly after one year following successfully merger with un-listed Trilok Laghubitta Bittiya Sansthan Limited at 100: 97 swap ratio. Salt Trading Corporation Limited (STC) and Central Finance Limited (CFCL) were the top loser after losing 10% each or Rs 285 or Rs 13 points, closing at Rs.2565 and Rs 117 per share respectively.
Sensitive Index gained 0.55 points and closed at 269.58 points while Float Index gained 0.48 points and closed at 88.94 points.
Trading, Development Banks, Finance, Hydropower and Mutual Fund were among losing sub-indices today while the rest of the 7 sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining minimal points.
