This update is necessary for accurate tax deduction records and to ensure that E-TDS (tax deducted at source) details are properly entered. The bank also provides an option to apply for PAN renewal at any branch. Failure to update the PAN may result in issues with tax filings, and the bank will not be responsible for any tax discrepancies.
