NIMB launched Nepal’s first Visa Wearable Sticker, “NIMB Paywear,” at an event in Kathmandu, aiming to revolutionize digital payments in the country. This innovative device enables contactless payments by tapping a wearable sticker at any POS terminal, enhancing speed, convenience, and security.

NIMB Paywear can be attached to personal items like keychains or watches, offering an alternative to traditional cards and mobile wallets. For added security, transactions over NPR 5,000 require a PIN.

To celebrate, NIMB is offering a refund on the NPR 1,000 fee for early adopters who complete 12 transactions within three months. NIMB aims to position itself as a market leader, targeting tech-savvy users and expanding its offerings.

Known for pioneering initiatives, such as introducing Visa Electron Debit cards in 2003, NIMB now boasts an extensive network of 275 branches, 265 ATMs, and over 4,000 POS terminals across Nepal.
