NLIC Collected Highest Premium of Rs. 8.01 Arba Till Bhadra; What is the Status of Other Life Insurance Companies?

In the ever-competitive landscape of the insurance industry, life insurance companies in Nepal are making significant strides to increase their premium collections during the fiscal year 2080/81. As of the second month of this fiscal year, these companies have collectively gathered a substantial premium of Rs 29.12 Arba from their 13,451,822 active insurance policies.

Leading the charge, Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited stands out with a remarkable premium collection of Rs. 8.01 Arba, firmly establishing its dominance in the market. With an impressive 1,145,945 active insurance policies as of Bhadra 2080. Followed by Rastriya Beema Sanstha Limited, while having a least 123,260 insurance policies, has collected a commendable premium worth Rs. 3.56 Arba.

In contrast, Prabu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance Limited, with 174,765 insurance policies in force, reported a premium collection of Rs. 82.49 Crores. On the other hand, Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited, despite having a substantial number of 974,295 active insurance policies, recorded a lower premium collection of Rs. 63.74 Crores.
