Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Pledges Rs 10 Million for Flood and Landslide Victims
The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has announced a contribution of Rs 10 million to support Nepalis affected by recent floods, landslides, and inundation triggered by continuous rainfall across the country.
During a virtual meeting on Sunday, NRNA President Dr. Badri KC stated that the initial Rs 10 million would be provided as part of the first phase of relief efforts. Additionally, the association has formed a high-level financial assistance collection committee, led by NRNA Vice-president Dr. Hemraj Sharma, to further aid flood victims.
The committee includes NRNA office-bearers, regional coordinators, and chairs of the National Coordination Council, tasked with coordinating and collecting further relief funds.
