On fifth consecutive gaining day, market gains double digit points; three microfinance companies hit the positive circuit

The market today reached 1155 points at its highest and closed with gain of double digit points. NEPSE Index closed at 1148.89 points, gaining 1.19% or 13.51 points. The turnover amount stood at Rs.46.42 Crore achieved through trade of 1,459,700 units of shares traded through 7,627 transactions trading scrips of 173 listed companies in the process.
Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) dominated the trade today with turnover of Rs.2.30 Crore achieved through trade of 73,431 units of shares. The LTP of the stock stood at Rs.313 per share.
Three companies hit the positive circuit today, they were Summit Laghubitta (SMFDB), Nadep Laghubitta (NADEP) and Nepal Seva Laghubitta (NSEWA). Nabil Equity Fund (NEF) was today’s top loser as it lost 5.74% and closed at Rs.7.38 per unit.
Sensitive Index gained 2.65 points and closed at 253.17 points while Float Index gained 1 point and closed at 85.34 points.
Others and Mutual Funds lost minimal points today while rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
