Over Rs 1.74 Billion Collected in Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund

The Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund has received over Rs 1.74 billion in contributions as of October 16. According to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, the fund aims to support disaster survivors, with donations coming from both individuals and institutions.

On October 16, ten organizations and individual donor Vidyadhar Mallik made contributions. Notable donations include Rs 6.1 million from the Salt Trading Corporation, Rs 5.1 million from the Non-Resident Nepali Association, and Rs 326,038 from Rastriya Samachar Samiti. Other contributors include the Nepal Police Wives Association, Nepal Insurance Company, and the Electricity Generation Company.
