Personal stories during Covid-19 lockdown; Journey from a know-nothing to a Youtuber on financial market
Thu, Apr 30, 2020 9:02 AM on Exclusive,
I'm one of the small investors and the student of BSc physics 3rd year currently studying at St. Xavier's college, Maitighar, Kathmandu. My investing journey is not very long. It's just 3 years.
In the beginning I used to learn about stock market from the books of Mr.Rabindra Bhattrai and through Youtube videos of Indian investors. Since the day i started investing, i don't think that there is even a single day that i didn't study about stock market. It has become passion for me.
I always regret that I have started my journey of stock market very late because of lack of guidance. Even now if i want to study some topic of stock market through youtube then i have to rely on Indian or foreign share analyst. So,I wanted to become share analyst and post videos about finance and Nepali stock market. But i didn't have any knowledge about video making and editing. Due to the hectic schedule of morning college and home tuition(I teach science and math upto class 12) I couldn't learn that as well.
But due to lockdown,I was totally free. Initially i didn't utilize the time. But from the 2nd week of lockdown, my old idea of spreading financial knowledge through youtube videos striked my mind. Then,I learned public speaking, video making ,video editing from the youtube and started my youtube channel with channel name "Sujan Das". Then, from that moment I'm busy in researching new financial knowledge and share that knowledge through youtube in Nepali. So far, i don't have much videos but my plan is to upload at least 3 financial videos per week during lock down and at least 1 financial video per week after lock down.
I hope everyone is safe and staying at home. I want people not to look the lock down negatively only. I know it's not good but we must also see the positive side of it as well. You can do things which you always wanted but couldn't do it because of lack of time. You can learn new things and improve your skills . You can start healthy habits. By the way i am learning to cook as well.
