PM Dahal Pledge To Prioritize People In Policy, Program, and Budget Implementation
During a meeting with a delegation led by CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli at the official residence in Baluwatar, PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' expressed his commitment to making the upcoming fiscal year's policy, program, and budget people-oriented. PM Dahal expressed hope that these changes would yield positive results, emphasizing a quality shift in the upcoming year's policy, program, and budget structure, timeline, and process.
CPN (UML) submitted a memorandum to the government, incorporating the demands gathered during the 'Resolution Journey for Prosperity' campaign from Jhulaghat of Baitadi to Chiwabhanjyang of Taplejung, held from November 30 to December 17. PM Dahal acknowledged the UML's focus on development in mid-hill areas, public service, and prosperity, stating that it would significantly contribute to the government's policy, program, and budget formulation.
Expressing Chair Oli commitment, PM Dahal assured serious consideration of the issues presented by the UML in the memorandum. Former Prime Minister and UML Chair Oli highlighted the campaign's contribution to understanding the life in mid-hill areas, development construction, people's psychology, political collaboration, and aspirations for prosperity. UML Chair Oli urged PM Dahal to address the issues outlined in the memo.
