Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has asserted that the current government, formed through a coalition of two major political parties during a critical period for the country, must be successful at any cost. Addressing the secretaries at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, PM Oli emphasized the importance of this coalition government, which came into power following the previous government's failure to meet public expectations.

PM Oli highlighted the significant contributions of the CPN (UML) and the Nepali Congress in the socio-economic transformation of the country. He stated, "The responsibility for the country's development lies with these two parties. They cannot afford to fail, and they will not be allowed to fail." He stressed the action-oriented nature of the current government, its determination to achieve progress, and the need to show signs of success within the current fiscal year, while planning for further accomplishments in the next fiscal year.

As per the coalition agreement, PM Oli mentioned that he would resign from his position a day before completing a two-year term, after which Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba would lead the government. He reassured government employees to carry out their duties with confidence, as the government is committed to its responsibilities and will remain stable.

PM Oli instructed the secretaries to undertake planned activities to accelerate development, deliver effective services to the public, and address issues such as hunger and bad governance. He underscored the national aspiration of "Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali," urging the government employees to work towards this goal diligently.
