PM Modi to Visit Nepal Soon After Bilateral Talks with PM Oli in New York
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, currently in New York for the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), held a bilateral meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday. The meeting, attended by top officials from both Nepal and India, took place at the Lotte New York Palace Hotel.
Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, who was present, described the talks as cordial, with Indian PM Modi expressing his intent to visit Nepal soon. Other attendees included Nepal's political advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal, and India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar. PM Oli remarked that the meeting was productive and positive.
