PM 'Prachanda' Calls for Action Against Counterfeit Bills and Stickers
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda', has urged government officials to address the issue of counterfeit bills and fake stickers to strengthen the economy by preventing revenue leakage. In a meeting held at the Prime Minister's Office in Singhdarbar, Dahal emphasized the importance of cracking down on illegal practices such as using false bills and stickers.
Dahal underscored the government's commitment to combat corruption and smuggling, stating that traditional administrative methods are insufficient for the task. He urged officials to adopt new strategies and technology to tackle these challenges effectively. Additionally, Dahal instructed officials to improve billing systems in the domestic market and modernize tax administration processes.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane, Finance Minister Barshaman Pun, and other senior officials, highlighting the government's determination to address revenue leakage and illicit practices comprehensively.
