Price of Gold Declines by Rs. 1,200 Per Tola Today, Silver Trading at Rs. 1,885
The price of fine gold has seen a reduction of Rs. 1,200 per tola.
As per the latest report from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is now trading at Rs. 1,40,600 per tola, marking a decrease of Rs. 1,200 from its previous closing rate of Rs. 141,800 per tola.
Similarly, Tejabi gold is currently priced at Rs. 139,900 per tola, reflecting a Rs. 1,200 drop from its closing price of Rs. 1,41,100 per tola on the previous day.
The peak surge in fine gold prices was observed on May 20, 2024, when it reached an all-time high of Rs. 141,800 per tola.
Furthermore, the price of silver has also decreased by Rs. 55 per tola, with the current market rate standing at Rs. 1,885 per tola compared to yesterday's closing rate of Rs. 1,940 per tola.
Both domestic and international markets have experienced declines in prices. The latest update shows the global gold rate at $2,414.40 per ounce, while silver demonstrates negative momentum internationally, with prices reaching $31.50 per ounce.
