Price of Gold Spikes Up By Rs. 1,000 in Nepalese Market; Trading Today at Rs. 1,38,400
The price of the highly coveted yellow metal has surged by Rs. 1,000 per tola today compared to yesterday's rates.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the current price for fine gold stands at Rs. 1,38,400 per tola, marking a notable increase from yesterday's Rs. 1,37,400 per tola.
Similarly, the price for Tejabi gold now stands at Rs. 1,37,750 per tola, reflecting a rise of Rs. 1,000 from the previous day's price of Rs. 1,36,750 per tola.
The peak price was recorded on April 19th, 2024, when fine gold reached an all-time high of Rs. 1,39,300 per tola.
Additionally, the cost of silver has also seen an uptick of Rs. 5 per tola, setting the new price at Rs. 1,745 per tola, up from yesterday's Rs. 1,740 per tola.
While domestic markets continue their ascent, international dynamics remain influential. Presently, the latest international gold rate stands at $2,356.90 per ounce, with silver priced at $28.52 per ounce in the global market.
