Price of Gold Spikes Up By Rs. 1,400 in Nepalese Market; Trading Today at Rs. 1,37,200
The price of the prized yellow metal has climbed by Rs. 1,400 per tola today relative to its value yesterday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the current price for fine gold is now Rs. 1,37,200 per tola, which is a Rs. 1,400 increase from the previous day's price of Rs. 1,35,800 per tola.
In a similar trend, Tejabi gold today is priced at Rs. 1,36,550 per tola, reflecting a rise of Rs. 1,400 from yesterday's figure of Rs. 1,35,150 per tola.
The price peak was recorded on April 19th, 2024, when fine gold hit an all-time high of Rs. 1,39,300 per tola.
Additionally, silver has also seen a modest uptick of Rs. 20 per tola, bringing its current price to Rs. 1,675 per tola, up from Rs. 1,655 per tola the day before.
As the domestic market sees prices trending upward, the global market remains a significant influencer. According to the latest data, the current international rate for gold stands at $2,333.70 per ounce. Similarly, the global price of silver is showing gains, now at $27.47 per ounce.
