Price Plunge: Gold Loses Rs. 2,400 Overnight
The fine gold market has significantly changed, with prices falling by Rs. 2,400 per tola.
According to the latest update from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is currently priced at Rs. 145,000 per tola, down from its previous closing rate of Rs. 147,400 per tola.
Tejabi gold has also experienced a price decrease, now valued at Rs. 144,300 per tola, which is Rs. 2,400 less than its earlier closing price of Rs. 146,700 per tola.
This reduction comes after a peak on July 17, 2024, when fine gold reached an all-time high of Rs. 149,800 per tola.
Additionally, the price of silver has decreased by Rs. 55 per tola, with the current market rate at Rs. 1,750 per tola, compared to yesterday's closing rate of Rs. 1,805 per tola.
