Price Plunge: Gold Loses Rs. 2,400 Overnight

The fine gold market has seen a noticeable dip, with prices dropping by Rs. 2,400 per tola.

As per the latest update from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold now stands at Rs. 162,600 per tola, down from Rs. 165,000 per tola previously.

Tejabi gold has also recorded a decline, with its price now at Rs. 161,900 per tola—a Rs. 2,400 decrease from its former rate of Rs. 164,300 per tola.

This drop follows a recent peak on October 31, 2024, when fine gold reached an all-time high of Rs. 171,000 per tola.

Silver prices have also decreased by Rs. 30 per tola, with the current rate at Rs. 1,925 per tola, down from Rs. 1,955 the previous day.
