Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli Embarks on Four-Day Official Visit to China
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli left for Beijing this morning for a four-day official visit to China. The visit, scheduled from December 2 to 5, comes at the cordial invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang.
During his stay, PM Oli is set to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing. He will also engage in talks with Premier Li Qiang, where they will exchange views on various issues of mutual interest. Additionally, Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress, is scheduled to meet with the Prime Minister.
As part of his engagements, PM Oli will address a program at Peking University. He is also slated to speak at the Nepal-China Business Forum, an event jointly organized by the Embassy of Nepal in Beijing, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI).
The Prime Minister is accompanied by his spouse, Radhika Shakya. The delegation includes several high-ranking officials, such as Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, and Economic and Development Advisor Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada. Parliamentarians, government officials, private sector representatives, and media personnel are also part of the delegation.
The PM-led team is expected to return to Nepal on December 5.
