Prince Dahal Defeated by Victor Axelsen in Paris Olympics 2024 Badminton Match

Badminton player Prince Dahal has faced defeat against Victor Axelsen of Denmark at the Paris Olympics. The match, held last night at Porte De La Chapelle Arena in Paris, France, saw Dahal losing in straight sets, 21-8 and 21-10.

Prince Dahal will now compete against Ireland's Hat Nguyen on Monday, followed by a match against Israel's Misa Zilberman on July 30.

Nepal has been participating in the Olympics since the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. This year marks a significant milestone as it is the first time a Nepali athlete is competing in badminton at the Olympics.

In other Olympic events, Sushmita Nepal will compete in the 10m air rifle shooting event, and Duwana Lama will participate in the 200m freestyle swimming event later today.
