Priority should be given to economic ties along with diplomatic one: Bahrain

Secretary at the Foreign Ministry of the kingdom of Bahrain, Dr Shaikha Rana bint Isa Al Khalifa, has said that Nepal and Bahrain should move ahead by linking culture and tourism with each other.
During the meeting between Nepali Ambassador to Bahrain, Padam Sundas, and Secretary Khalifa, at the ministry in Manama on Thursday, Ambassador Sundas invited the Foreign Secretary as a special guest at an inaugural ceremony of Visit Nepal Year-2020 to be organised by Nepali Embassy in Bahrain on January 13.
Ambassador Sundas expressed the belief that the inauguration ceremony would play a special role to take the Nepal-Bahrain relations to a new elevation since that day also happens to be the 43rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the Nepali Embassy in Manama stated.
He said that the Embassy would operate various programmes throughout the year for making the Visit Nepal Year 2020 campaign successful.
Secretary Khalifa expressed the commitment to participate in other programmes that the Nepali Embassy would be organizing in course of the Visit Year campaign, suggesting to promote the economic relations as well by inviting the business community to the Visit Year programmes for enhancing economic diplomacy.
Ambassador Sundas requested for high level participation from the Kingdom of Bahrain in the Sagarmatha Sambaad that is going to be organized in Kathmandu from April 2 to 4.
