Public Issue of 12 Crore Units "RBB Mutual Fund 2" Mutual Fund Scheme Closing Today

RBB Merchant Banking is closing the issue of its mutual fund scheme "RBB Mutual Fund 2" to the general public today i.e. 31st Baisakh. The issue opened on the 17th Baisakh and was supposed to close on 21st Baisakh, 2080. However, since the issue manager didn't receive enough applications, the issue has been extended till today.
Out of 12 crore unit shares; 15% or 1.80 crore units worth Rs. 18 crores have been allocated to the fund sponsor Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited. The remaining 10.20 crore units are being issued to the general public.
According to CDSC, a total of 15,651 applicants have applied for 46,046,424 units worth Rs. 46.04 Crore so far. This data is as of 5 PM last Friday.
"RBB Mutual Fund 2" is a closed-end fund that will be traded in NEPSE. It has a maturity period of 10 years. Applicants can apply for a minimum of 100 units to a maximum of 12,000,000 units.
As of now, RBB Merchant Banking Limited has been managing one close-end fund i.e. RBB Mutual Fund 1 (RMF1) in the market.
