Public Issue of 8.5 Crore Units "NIC Asia Growth Fund 2" Mutual Fund Scheme Closing Today

NIC Asia Capital Limited is closing the issue of its mutual fund scheme "NIC Asia Growth Fund 2" to the general public today i.e. on Mangsir 18, 2080. The issue opened on the 4th Mangsir and was supposed to close on the 7th of Mangsir, 2080. However, since the issue manager didn't receive enough applications, the issue was extended till today.
Out of 10 crore unit shares, 15% i.e. 1.5 crore units worth Rs. 15 crores have been allocated to the fund sponsor NIC Asia Bank Limited. The remaining 8.5 crore units worth Rs 85 were issued to the general public from 4th Mangsir.
According to CDSC, a total of 55,295 applicants have applied for 8,43,47,210 units worth Rs. 84.34 Crore so far. This data is as of 5 p.m. yesterday.
"NIC Asia Growth Fund 2" is a closed-end fund with a maturity period of 7 years.
Applicants can apply for a minimum of 100 units to a maximum of 1,00,00,000 units.
