Radhi Bidyut Company Proposes 5% Dividend of FY 2078/79; When is the Book Closure Date?

According to the decision of the board of directors meeting held at the registered office of Radhi Bidyut Company Limited (RADHI), the company has decided to hold the Annual General Meeting on Poush 28, 2079 (January 12, 2023) at 11:00 am on Thursday. In addition, the proposals to be presented in the general meeting are as follows.

• Board of Directors to discuss and approve the annual report of Fiscal Year 2078/79.
• To discuss and pass the balance sheet, profit and loss account and cash flow statement for the same period of FY 2078/79.
• Appointing auditor for FY 2079/80 and determining his remuneration.
• To approve cash dividend of 0.25 percent of paid up capital for tax purposes.
• Issuance of 4.75 percent bonus shares on the paid up capital of Rs. 1.59 Arba
• To authorize the Board of Directors to make amendments and additions to the proposed amendments to the regulations under the direction of the regulatory bodies.

In addition, for the purpose of the general meeting, the company's book closure of share registration will be on Poush 13, 2079. The shareholders who have been in existence till Poush 12, 2079, the day before the closing of the shareholder register, will be eligible to participate in the Annual General Meeting.
