Raghu Nandan Maru Elected Chairman of Nepal Cement Manufacturers Association

Raghu Nandan Maru, Managing Director of Shivam Cement, has been elected Chairman of the Nepal Cement Manufacturers Association's new Working Committee during its 20th annual general meeting. Maru will serve as president for the next three years.

He emphasized the need for cooperation between the cement producer association, the government, and the private sector to address industry challenges, including stability, quality production, and market management.

Maru also highlighted the importance of coordinating with relevant agencies to address issues related to banking, local problems, and supporting industries like limestone mining and forestry.

The new committee includes Vice Presidents Dhubra Thapa and Tara Pokharel, General Secretary Rajaram Khadka, and Treasurer Arun Karn.
