Rastriya Banijya Bank Celebrates 60th Anniversary with Digital Innovations and Special Awards

Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited celebrated its 60th anniversary with a digital launch of 27 new branch offices, marking its growth and modernization. The event featured awards for outstanding employees and branch offices, including accolades for "Best Branch Office" and "Excellence in Service." Deputy Prime Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel praised the bank's role in the economy and unveiled a special commemorative magazine.

Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari recognized the bank's growth, and Chairman Dilip Kumar Dhungana reaffirmed the bank’s focus on key sectors like agriculture, energy, and tourism. CEO Devendra Raman Khanal reported strong financial growth, with total deposits of NPR 4.5 trillion. The bank also organized a "Financial Literacy Morning Walk" to promote financial awareness. Established in 1962, the bank now serves over 4.6 million customers through 294 branches across Nepal.
