Rastriya Banijya Bank Conducts 14-Day Training for Newly Appointed Employees

Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited is conducting a 14-day service training program in Kathmandu for 97 newly appointed employees, including 95 assistants (administration service) and 2 senior assistants. The Public Service Commission for Koshi, Madhesh, and Bagmati provinces selected these employees through written exams and interviews.
During the inauguration, the bank's Chief Executive Officer, Devendra Raman Khanal, emphasized the public’s trust in the bank and urged frontline employees to serve responsibly. He highlighted the need to minimize risks in the banking sector and encouraged the young recruits to work diligently.
Deputy Chief Executive Officers Saraswati Adhikari and Devesh Prasad Lohani guided the new employees on their responsibilities. Additionally, Human Resource Department Head Bhim Prasad Ghimire administered the oath to the recruits, as per the bank’s employee regulations. The event was coordinated by Hari Baba Acharya, the department's deputy head.
Senior executives, including Binay Raman Poudel, Durga Kumari Kadel, and Padma Laxmi GC, attended the program. Rastriya Banijya Bank currently operates in all 77 districts, with 294 branch offices, 72 extension counters, 312 ATMs, and 99 branchless banking units.
