Rastriya Banijya Bank Partners with Nepal Clearing House to Boost Cross-Border Payments for NEPALPAY QR Merchants

Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited has partnered with Nepal Clearing House Limited (NEPALPAY) and Alipay Plus to enable cross-border payments for NEPALPAY QR merchants. This allows merchants to receive payments from customers in 48 countries, including China, Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, and more. Tourists from these countries can now use their local digital wallets to pay easily in Nepal, enhancing the efficiency of digital transactions.

Merchants with NEPALPAY QR can boost their online business, and customers who haven't yet adopted the service can contact their bank branch to get it. The bank, with 294 branches nationwide, offers a variety of digital banking services, including ATMs, internet banking, mobile banking, and more.
