Rastriya Beema Sansthan reports massive 140% growth in net earnings from premium; insurance fund crosses Rs.20 Arba by the end of third quarter

Rastriya Beema Sansthan (RBS) has earned a net profit of Rs 1.68 crore till the month of Chaitra in the Q3 of fiscal year 2075/76. The net profit previously was Rs 1.47 crore in the same quarter of FY 2074/75.
As per the unaudited report for the third quarter published today, the net earnings from premium rose to Rs 5.63 arba in Q3 from Rs 2.33 arba in the corresponding quarter of last year, marking a growth of more than 140%.
RBS has a paid-up capital of Rs 18.10 crore with a reserve of Rs 18.66 crore. Likewise, the company’s insurance fund has increased to Rs 20.07 arba from Rs 15.03 arba in the corresponding quarter. The company has yet to float IPO to the general public. It is wholly owned by government of Nepal.
