Sagarmatha Jalbidhyut Company Limited (SMJC) has published its fourth-quarter report for the recently concluded financial year 2079-80 with a marginal loss in Net Profits of 1.64 percent. Until Q4 of FY 2079-80, the company has made Rs. 6.35 crores as opposed to Rs. 6.45 crores made until the corresponding quarter of the previous FY 2078-79.
The revenue from the sale of electricity for the company has declined by 5.20 percent, totaling Rs. 25.50 crores until the last quarter of FY 2079-80.
The Earnings per Share (EPS) of the company has declined to stand at Rs. 5.67, alongside a just above-par Net Worth per Share of Rs. 105.32, as of FY 2079-80.
The financial expenses of the company have only marginally declined totaling Rs. 23.19 crores until the same period.
The hydropower company maintains Rs. 1.12 Arba in paid-up capital and has Rs. 5.95 crores in retained earnings.
In this quarter, the entire due work of Supermai A Jalbidhyut has been completed and has come into full operation.
Recently, Sagarmatha Jalbidhyut Company Limited had floated 35,81,760 unit shares of Rs 100 face value from 8th Chaitra-12th Chaitra, 2079. The company intended to collect Rs 35.81 crore from this IPO. The paid-up capital of the company had reached Rs. 1.12 Arba after the IPO issuance.
