Recently IPO-issued DOLTI Makes Public Q4 Report with Net Loss of Rs. 2.18 Crores; EPS and Net Worth per Share Poor

Dolti Power Company Limited (DOLTI) has published its fourth-quarter report for the recently concluded financial year 2079-80, with a Net loss of Rs. 2.18 crores as of the last quarter of the same fiscal year. Until the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year 2078-79, the company had made Rs. 16.55 lakhs.
The company has made Rs. 1.54 crores from its core revenue stream (power sales as of the last quarter of the financial year 2079-80).
The administrative expenses of the company have spiked totaling Rs. 48.77 lakhs until FY 2079-80. However, the financial cost incurred by the hydropower company has declined by 47.05 percent, totaling Rs. 2.27 crores up to the same tenure.
With a decline in Net Profits, the Earnings per Share (EPS) of the company has declined as well to stand at a negative Rs. -4.06, alongside a below-par Net worth per share of 78.13.
DOLTI maintains Rs. 53.64 crores in paid-up capital.
In this quarter, the company's accounts benefited from the commercial sale of electricity. Looking ahead, the company plans to sell electricity from Namarjun Dolti Power Company Limited (4.5 MW) to NEA after completing all necessary procedures.
Earlier from Chaitra 28, 2079 to Baisakh 3, 2080 the company had issued 12,71,861 unit shares for the general public.
Subsequently, 53,64,860 unit IPO shares of Dolti Power Company including the shares held by promoters and the quantity issued to the general public and project-affected locals had been listed in NEPSE on Jestha 24, 2080.
