Canadian cricket icon Saad Bin Zafar, a record-breaking all-rounder and Canada’s first-ever T20 World Cup captain in 2024, has joined the Lumbini Lions for the Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2024.
Zafar, known for his outstanding performances, including a historic four-over spell without conceding a run in T20 Internationals, brings extensive international experience.
Zafar, a slow left-arm spinner and left-hand batter, has also shined in the Caribbean Premier League with St Lucia Zouks. Expressing excitement about joining the team, Zafar praised Nepal’s cricketing culture and looks forward to contributing to the Lions’ success.
