Reminder: Last Day to Apply for "8.5% Nepal Bank Rinpatra 2087"

The issue of "8.5% Nepal Bank Rinpatra 2087" has opened from Baisakh 22. The issue will close today, i.e. on Baisakh 31.

"8.5% Nepal Bank Rinpatra 2087" is a bond issued by Nepal Bank Limited. As the name suggests, the issue has a coupon rate of 8.5% and will mature in the year 2087 B.S. The coupon rate is simply the annual return on investment promised to the investor.

A total of 35,00,000 has been issued at Rs. 1,000 per unit by the completion of the issue. Of the 5% of total units reserved for mutual funds, only 15,000 units have been distributed. Thus, 13,85,000 units have been issued to the general public and the remaining 21,00,000 units will be subscribed via private placement.

Investors can apply for a minimum of 25 units and a maximum of 3,00,000 units.
