Reminder: Last Day to Bid for Promoter Shares of These Companies
Today is the last day to bid for the promoter shares of National Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited. The company has been auctioning its own promoter shares in two lots, one that opened on Jestha 27 and one on Ashad 03. The auction will close today, i.e. Ashad 10, 2078, at the end of banking hours.
A total of 50,000 unit promoter shares are auctioned in the first auction and 78,150 unit promoter shares in the second. Existing promoters, individuals, and institutions are all eligible to bid for the auction. Rs. 1,022 is the minimum bid rate while the minimum bid quantity is 100 units. Although bidders can bid for the entirety of the issue, they are required to abide by Nepal Rastra Bank's rule to not exceed the specified quantity of shares per entity.

Similarly, today is also the last day to bid for promoter shares of Samriddhi Finance Company Limited (SFCL). The company has been auctioning its promoter shares from 3rd Ashad and will conclude today, i.e. on 10th Ashad, 2078.
13,80,718 unit promoter shares are auctioned. Individuals, existing promoters, and institutions are all eligible to bid for the auction. Samriddhi Finance had previously issued the right shares in the ratio 1:2 to its shareholders. 36,39,606 units of right shares were issued to shareholders from Ashwin 16. The unclaimed right shares were then auctioned, i.e. 13,58,268 unclaimed promoter shares and 4,66,089 unclaimed ordinary shares. 13,80,718 shares unclaimed in the auction are now being auctioned again.

According to the auction manager BOK Capital, Rs. 101 was the cut-off price for ordinary/public shares and Rs. 100 for promoter shares last time. Only 6 bids were received for promoter shares while 194 bids were received for ordinary shares.
