Reminder: Last Day to Grab Dividend of These 3 Companies

Sunrise Bank Limited (SRBL) has called its 14th AGM on 15th Poush, 2078. The meeting will be held in Amrapali Banquet, Baluwatar, Kathmandu, starting at 10: 30 am that day.

Among other agendas, the AGM will endorse a 7% dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78. The meeting of the board of directors held on Kartik 22 decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 9.48 Arba. 6.65% bonus shares and 0.35% cash dividend (for tax purposes) have been proposed.

Furthermore, the AGM will also endorse increasing the authorized capital to Rs. 15 Arba.

Poush 04 is the book closure date. Thus, shareholders maintained till today are entitled to the dividend payout and can also attend this AGM since today is the last trading day before the book closure date.

Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) has also called its 20th AGM on Poush 18. The meeting will be held in the bank's central office in Babar Mahal, Kathmandu, starting at 11 am that day.

The 228th meeting of the board of directors held on Kartik 23 decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 11.34 Arba. 12% bonus shares worth Rs 1.36 Arba and 0.63% cash dividend (for tax purposes) have been proposed.

Similarly, Manakamana Smart Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MKLB) has called its 4th AGM on 19th Poush, 2078. The meeting will be held in Hotel Pauwa, Rupandehi, starting at 2 pm that day.

Among other agendas, the AGM will endorse a 17% dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78. The 66th meeting of the board of directors held on Kartik 16 has decided to distribute the entirety of the dividend in bonus shares. The paid-up capital of the company is Rs. 12,11,50,000. Thus, the bonus shares are worth slightly over Rs. 2.5 crores.

Since the company had started a joint operation with Smart Laghubitta on Shrawan last year, the company has received tax exemption on the dividend proposal. Shareholders will not have to pay the tax amount on the dividend proposed.

Furthermore, this meeting will also elect two board members from the public shareholders.
