Reminder! Last Day to Grab Dividend Proposed by Nepal Insurance Company Limited

Today is the last day to grab the 15.79% dividend Nepal Insurance Company Limited (NICL) proposed. The company called its 76th AGM on 19th Chaitra, 2081. The meeting will be held in the Nepal Pragya Pratisthan, Kamaladi, Kathmandu, starting at 11 am that day.
Among the other agendas, the AGM will endorse a 15.79% dividend for FY 2080/81. The board of directors held a meeting on Falgun 24, where they decided to distribute 15% bonus shares and 0.79% cash dividend (including the amount for tax purposes) from the paid-up capital. The paid-up capital of the company is Rs. 1.63 Arba. Thus, the bonus shares are worth Rs. 24.66 Crores and the cash dividend is worth Rs. 1.29 Crores for tax purposes.
The book closure date is Chaitra 07, 2081. Therefore, the shareholders who have maintained their shares until today are entitled to dividend payout and can attend this AGM.
