Reminder! Last Day to Grab Dividend Proposed by Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited

Today is the last day to claim the proposed Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited (SCB) dividend. The company has also called its 38th AGM on Tuesday, 25th Mangsir, 2081 (10th December 2024). The meeting will be held at the Army Officers Club, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu, starting from 9:30 AM that day.
Among the other agenda items, the AGM will endorse a 25.5% dividend for the fiscal year 2080/81. The 464th meeting of the Board of Directors of Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited (SCB), held on 29 October 2024 at 4:30 PM, decided to propose 6.5% bonus shares and 19% cash dividend (inclusive of tax) for the Fiscal Year 2080/81, subject to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the Annual General Meeting of the shareholders of the Bank.
Mangsir 12 is the book closure date. Thus, shareholders who have maintained their shares until today are entitled to the dividend payout and can attend the AGM.
As of writing, SCB has an LTP of Rs. 764.00.
