Representatives from Investors Forum met Bankers; urged to promote conducive environment for share market
With the downward spiral of the share market, representatives from Nepal Investors Forum have met officials of Nepal Bankers Association on Sunday to discuss about the possible ways the commercial banks could step in to uplift the confidence of the investors.
Issuing a press release, Nepal Investors Forum stated that the discussion about the various prospects of the commercial banks working as the share brokers, loan against shares, margin call and other relevant issues about the share market were discussed in the meeting.
Mr. Ambika Prasad Paudel, chairman of the Nepal Investors Forum was one among the representatives from the investors who reportedly argued about several of reforms that could be taken from the bank’s side in order to promote investment in share market as one of the attractive investment options.
In the issued press note, NIF has also urged all the general investors to ignore the misleading information that few interest groups have been circulating through their rumors in order to fulfill their vested interests and has also urged to be mindful while making investment decisions.
